Author Topic: iPod nano - Podcasts not synching correctly  (Read 13934 times)

I have an Ipod nano - 3 years old 2GB model

I've set up a few podcasts and they download, and appear to sync correctly - no errors or anything.

But on the ipod the Podcasts menu item is empty.  The individual tracks are on the device under Music, with Genre = podcast, but the other features are missing (eg stop and resume, unplayed indicator, etc.)

They are also sorted inconsistently - though I guess this depends on how the tags are set up by the podcasters.

I have seen similar behaviour before with Audiobooks in MediaMonkey.  The Ipod will only put tracks encoded with (i think) AAC or MP4 AND tagged Audiobook in the audiobook folder.  But the podcasts, have always worked for me before.

Any suggestions?

no i dont know why it wouldnt work - i probably have the same model as you by the sounds of it and its ok for me. These podcasts are podcasts from the Podcasts section in MusicBee and not podcast files you have in the main library?
