I think it would be great to have the ability to apply transparency levels to the compact player from the context menu , as opposed to going into the settings... and actually have a transparency setting that may be specific to it as opposed to what appears to be all floating windows?
Also, I would like it to come back to degrees of opaque when it is the active window.

What happened to the proposed revamp of the compact player done by Steven? I have not been able to find the thread. Anyone please?

i've been wanting to start this but i keep getting bogged down with other things - i hope to do something this weekend

Thank you Steven.  Yes, I can imagine  that you have your plate  more than full.
