I think I'm done with this one, but if I've overlooked anything feel free to add on: http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Library_Navigation_Elements

Would folks who have heavily customized the Track Info panel give this one a once-over to make sure I haven't overlooked anything important, please?

looks good to me.
For the v3 release notes, i want to reference a wiki page for panel arrangement. Would this be the best?

That should do it.  Or if you want to link to the top of the page, it's http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/The_Anatomy_of_MusicBee.

I'll take a look later, make sure a few more of the linked pages are polished up (tabs, etc)

p.s. thanks for taking the time to look these over.

Anything else needed on tabs?  I don't use tabs much so I could have overlooked something.

Added: Status Bar also complete.

For tabs, you could add the followings:

- Middle mouse click can close a tab.
- The main purpose of pin tab feature is to replace left navigator. That's why left navigator gets auto-hidden for a pinned tab. But you can change its state per tab.
- When a tab is pinned first time, search function gets limited to local node only. But you can change it to global and the setting is remembered.
- Pinned tabs get moved on the left side of tabs bar.
- Inbox and podcast node show counts when pinned with icon only.

Thanks, that's helpful stuff.  When you say "search function gets limited... but the setting is remembered" does that mean that other tabs will remember it, or just that tab?  Do you mean it's remembered if the tab is pinned, unpinned, and pinned again?

Also, if you do a global seach from a pinned tab, does it open in a new tab?

Only that tab. And if you pin it again, local search again. Yes, global search opens in a new tab unlike local search.

Got it.  I think I worked all that in.

Looks good except this part:

"The Navigator is hidden for pinned tabs (on the assumption that you're also using the Navigation Lock option and don't want to navigate away from the tab's contents)"

That's correct but can you add this part too?: "The Navigator gets hidden for pinned tabs because you can easily navigate to any of your favorite nodes by switching between pinned tabs instead of using Left Navigator"

Also, there's no mention of close tab buttons that show up on boxed/mixed text mode.

I changed the wording to point out that other tabs would be used for navigation, and added a close tabs section that includes the button.

File Organisation! I know a lot of the really pertinent info is already there on various pages, but I feel it has the most potential stuff to unlock for new users.

Here's a first pass at File Organization: http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/File_Organization

I'm working on Templates next to go along with it.

Edit: http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Templates

Everyone please feel free to contribute to the "Tips" section.  I can always fix formatting if it doesn't come out quite right.

@psychoadept;

Just noticed you removed descriptions about latest update on the wiki, just directing it to the forum thread. Consider restoring it as it would be useful for new users to understand the differences between official release and latest patch.
