Hi,

I have translated MusicBee into Latin (la). Please download the Latin language file (MusicBee version 2) via the MediaFire link above. It is okay, but not in anyway perfect. I'm confident that all the word-stems are correct, but the grammar is probably so and so. So if you are a pope in a Catholic church of sorts, or perhaps a professor in ancient languages, you risk building up a serious frustration problem if you choose to utilise my translation. Cato would, had he seen my poor efforts, probably amend his closing line in the Senate to: Praeterea censeo Carthaginem et Upsaliam esse delendam.

I do, however, prioritise the Swedish translation, and will not update the Latin version very often.

Who would use this? I didn't think Latin was used anywhere outside of academia?

That's freak! I like it! Thanks :)

They use it in the Vatican, where the cash dispensers are in latin too. Also can be useful for biologists or medical scholars

He, he! Imponerande!

Probably no one.

I didn't think Latin was used anywhere outside of academia?
It isn't.

I did this as
1) an exercise, and
2) as a distraction when my illness took the best of me.

If you don't like it, don't use it.

Tja … Jag har dels tagit lång tid på mig, dels nött ut mina latinböcker. Men det roligaste var att hitta på nya ord för de begrepp som inte redan hade fått en översättning.

If you don't like, don't use it.

It was just a question, not a criticism.

And my answer wasn't an reactionary attack, but merely an observation. If anyone actually uses my translation is irrelevant to me, so if you don't like it, don't use it. This wasn't created to cater to the needs of any specific group. I did this for myself, and whether or not Steven wants to include it into MusicBee or if it'll be available only via this thread, is of no concern to me.

My disability makes me pretty much unable to be offended. I simply don't understand (nor care) if I someone meant to offend me or not, and in the event I actually do understand the situation, I usually do so months or even years after the occasion. Criticism, when constructive, is something I always welcome. However, living in a world with more or less normal people have taught me that most people interpret my responses as being attacks due to whatever reason. I guess that it stems from their own feelings, rather than mine. If you felt attacked, I apologise, it wasn't my intention. And don't worry. I'm not angry, offended or in any way negatively affected by your first post.
