Hi,

Continuing old topic, could it be possible to add progress meter to the device transfer window and in the main view?
This would really help in knowing how far the file deletion/uploading has progressed.

This topic has been talked before in threads  but it hasn't really got real confirmation from the development.

http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=174.0 (status bar)

I have created a mock-up to see how it could look in action:

Thanks in advance for a reply.

I also think a visual progress bar is needed, not just for syncing to portable devices, but for all potentially lengthy operations:
* file copying and moving
* volume analysis
* CD-ripping
* format conversion
etc.

If the operation dialog isn't shown, behind the present text in the status bar would seem a good place for it, and consistent with other program UIs.
Bee excellent to each other...

+1 for general use case for any operation
Even just a "copying...37%" tucked away in a corner would be nice.

Another potential advantage of having a progress bar is that it gives the impression that operations are carried out faster, like a "placebo effect"
