Works very well.
I won't comment on the look as of yet since you mentioned you would work on them.
I would LOVE if you coul give the buttons a more modern look. Actually, a Metro look would be awesome.

And finally, I like a light theme (i use Metro Light Cyan) so if you could keep the same colors, that would be definetly wicked.

When you say Metro, are you talking Win8 Metro (now Modern), similar to my Wing-ated skin, or are you talking Metro/MetroColours?

A pic, similar to what you would like to see would be great, if you can find one.

Perhaps an interesting design for buttons would be Metro apps' toolbar style (when you right-click the app to access the menus). They're touch friendly, clean, and could be transparent over a dark color unless set to "on" (eg. Play when playing).

I also like that the color of active buttons is only inside the circle - much cleaner than a huge bright blue square in my opinion.

I'm still working through ideas fro this, and as the only touch screen device I have is my phone, it's great to get some other input.

I got this skin for my the PC in my car. It looks great. Please keep a dark color choice. Bright colors are hard on the eyes at night.

Is it possible to make a playlist selection button or area that can be touched easily?

It's not a current option available in the bitmap skins.
You make the request in the Wishlist, and if Steven makes good with it, I'll add it in.

And I'll be doing a light and dark version

Windows 8 use the Segoe UI Symbol font for the icons in the metro ( modern ui ) App's ,
nice and clean ,as i know there are saved in the SVG format.

Unfortunately, it's not open source and you have to buy a licence to use it any redistributed software. Freeware or other.
