I've done  the "retro" skin, so here's something a bit modern

You've done a really good job, it's a perfect match for the OS you've pictured. I really like the colour scheme you've used, everything stands out nicely without being garish.

I've been playing around with this new toy to see if the Metro style is right for me. Still don't know I should jump on the new OS.
BTW I noticed a small anomaly in the player's display where the top of title looks a little cut off.



I don't know why but your screenshot doesn't have such a problem.

@ redwing: What font are you using?  I think I was using Segoe UI for the screenshot. Please let me know so I can test.

I am using the same default font as yours. The display has no problem when I change to other skins.

I had already made adjustments for the track position being under the title and not at the end. Maybe not enough?

In the screenshot is Segoe UI Bold @ 16pt. I had to take it up to 22pt to get any clipping like your screen. And it certainly doesn't look like you have the font that large.

I'll keep trying a few other things, but it is strange

Yep. found that it's out with the smaller font sizing. Will adjust and post an update.

Now I am satisfied, having the exact same one as the one in the showcase
