As an example...

I recently ripped a CD to .flac.  In my device settings I've told MusicBee to convert anything that's not an mp3 with bitrate <= 160k to an mp3 with bitrate 128k.

When I synced the songs to my phone, they all show up in the right place, and they all have an .mp3 extension.

If I use a file browser to navigate to the folder where the songs are, and I click on *any* of the songs, they play fine.

But when the stock music player lists songs, it is only including 3 of the 10 songs from the album.  If I use the music player to navigate to that folder, it still only shows 3 of the 10.  I also used a different music player (from MIUI).  Same problem.

Why are .mp3 files not being recognized as music files?

Maybe it's not a Music Bee thing, but figured I'd ask here just in case something weird was going on during the conversion process.
