Have to say i'm very interested too in the flat white skins from Mikebo and Beistrich. In fact i had in mind doing one very similar but with the top bar and the active tab in top in a flat metro blue, inspired by the web of Microsoft and maybe by facebook before. Who knows, maybe in a future :)

I'm currently working on something like this:

Just seen this again.  Think it looked really really promising.  Are you still out there beistrich?  It would be a shame to see this great start go to waste...

Is there a way to hide scroll bars in skins?

Only way that I know of is to make all you scroll bar elements the same colour as your background.

Hmm.  That won't help with being able to show text in that space, though.  I may need to request this.

Edit: Or does this constitute the request? I'd actually learn how to do skinning to be able to get rid of them...

Steven what do you think about a separate color for track count in track browser? I think it would look much better if it was a little dimmer, that way the information is still there when you look at it directly, but kind of fades away when you're not.
(For skins that do not specify the color maybe it could be inherited from "Content[TrackDetail].Body.Disabled")

I'm doing something similar with status bar text, and while it works for the file count etc., it's not so great for the notifications like ripping, converting, auto-shutdown etc. So maybe you could consider adding a new element like "Panel.StatusBar.Notification" or something like that.

Could this gap between the library explorer header and the categories be closed up, or a way to fill it in via skinning added?

It's working, thanks!

(If it applied to the same color line below the categories, too - different from the bdr line - that would be even more excellent!)

is it possible to make the horizontal separating lines double wide which is what I 'think' the first image has?
