Hello,

it will be very cool, to have a screensaver like in itunes (only OSx support this, not lame windows-itunes) with MB:
I saw this in a bar, and like this idea really much!

Yeah it's a nice one.
To improve the speed of it I created a folder containing only all my coverart without the musicfiles or other images.
Using a tool like e.g. copywhiz copying the complete folderstructure of all my music, and only the folder.jpg from every folder.

HMPH!!
Now I see the benefit of using folder.jpg.  I have always embedded album art in the track.

Is there a easy way to extract that art so I can use this screensaver?
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

one thing to keep in mind with using folder.jpg is that if you ever use WMP it will download 200x200 artwork and overwrite your larger pictures (last i heard there isnt a way to disable that)

A trick i did for duplicating all my folder.jpg files was:
-doing a search for all the folder.jpg files in my music folder
-add them to a new zip or rar file
-unzip this zip in another folder
-use your favourite batch renamer to rename all of them to folder_2.jpg
-move them to the music folder, so they will go to their corresponding folder
