I was trying to figure how I could drag a folder across to create a new playlist but I have been told it's not possible.

I love that feature in iTunes and I think many will find it very useful.

    A work around for now is that you can drag a folder into a playlist. So you could create an empty new playlist and name it whatever you like then drag the folder into that.
