i really like the lastest layout you are using.
I suspect with the current version it wont handle overflow well - so if the track title is too wide it overflows onto the upcoming tracks section.  If that is the case, i will change it to make sure the text respects the width attribute (so you would need to set the width)

I just prepared it for myself, so I can use MB as Media Center. Just shared in case somebody more find it useful. Of course, feel free to use/change it.

It needs the Open Sans fonts to look well (or similar ones). Good thing is Open Sans fonts are license free (even for commercial apps).

BTW, and idea: it could be interesting to be able to double click in the screen to go to full screen (and go back). So you can double click and have a full screen 'media center'.

i will implement the double click, but you can already acheive this by pressing F11 or alt-enter

You're right. I didn't know (It's just the double click in the middle of the screen is kind of standard to go to full screen in some apps, as F11 is in browsers).

+1 for doubleclicking for full screen

I think the thread for posting our own customiztions is http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?board=17.0 and this would be the one of Greb, which was created before than the thread mentioned

this is the issue i was refering to in an earlier post on this topic and i plan to add a new sizing attribute so the text can be trimmed with a ... if it oveflows a specified width. Of course it will be up to the author of the view whether to implement it or not

I tried but it doesn't work. What's wrong with this?

<element type="Field" id="Title" xAnchor="Picture.Right" x="15" yAnchor="Picture.Top" y="-16"  widthDock="Panel" width="-725" font="Open Sans" style="Bold" size="42" fg="245,245,245" ></element>

<element type="Field" id="Artist" xAnchor="Picture.Right" x="15" yAnchor="Title.Bottom" y="-16" widthDock="Panel" width="-725" font="Open Sans Light" style="Regular" size="42" fg="245,245,245" ></element>

Neither it works using a specific width, as witdh="400" (without widthDock).
