Hi,
If you are going to add video formats, please consider the following ones:

- MPEG2 HD TS (Japanese Digital TV format)
- DVD
- Blu-ray disc

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info.
I have installed "K-Lite codec pack" and "Satsuki decoder pack", however, none of the three formats are handled by MB.
No way...

"DVD" and "Blu-Ray disc" aren't really video formats. They aren't stored as individual video files and I don't think that they are something that is MusicBee is meant to be used to play.

Use VLC as external media player. This allows the Bluray to be played

Blu-ray's files cannot be added to "Video" of MB.

Thank you.
Please add ".ts" (MPEG2 TS).

And, would you try ".ifo" (DVD) and ".bdmv" (Blu-ray)?

Thanks.
I see, I was wrong. IFO files can be added to "Video", and can be played by an external player.

  • Long live OiNK!
MKV/x264/h264 doesn't play for me. I've installed any codec packs yet though

.m4v plays the audio, but not the video. Related to this, if one goes all the way to the end of a .m4v video, when it tries to go to the next video, MB crashes.

sounds like an issue with the codecs you have installed. Suggest you just use the external player functionality if you are not willing to install a codec pack such as k-lite

I have installed k-lite before getting into MB 2.0. I'll probably just use that external player functionality that you mentioned.

I experienced a similar crash when playing mkv files if I remember correctly
