I use the "Comments" field to hold album reviews for various sites, especially for new albums or those I'm not too familiar with. I have set up the idea suggested here: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=756.0

Problem is that when you add the comment field you are limited to 99 lines, so longer reviews get cut off.

How possible/practical would it be to create the option in the details panel to simply add in an extra panel for comments? So you could in theory have three (or more) tabs: Details-Lyrics-Comments.

Let me know if this needs clarification.

I use comments field to put reviews of the song and musicians.
That would be great to have a big panel for comments, for easier editing.

I display the comments in the right pane. Unfortunately it's only possible to "row span" the area that I reserve for comments.
A scroll bar would be very useful there.

Cheers

I also wish it was possible to more easily display lengthy comments.  The tab idea here seems like the best way.

I've tried playing with variations of the suggestions in this post http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=3006.0 but they are not too satisfying for comment viewing.  There is plenty of room for more tabs besides "Artwork", "Details", and "Lyrics" in the "Now Playing" area.

As an alternative, another place where comments could be visible is in the "playing track layout" area.  In addition to web sources, maybe there could be a way to display track tags here?

Just thoughts... MusicBee is awesome even without this type of function.
