Author Topic: Mark as No Lyrics  (Read 4717 times)

It should always be possible to mark a song as having no lyrics from the right click context menu of the lyrics box, even if Musicbee finds a result, because the lyrics wiki often creates pages for songs and just puts an "Instrumental" as the lyrics. Thus, I should be able to override the searched lyrics and place a no lyrics on the song.

Having to delete the lyrics via the tag editor before marking as having no lyrics can get tedious.

I use the context menu to search for next lyrics provider. You can mark the track as having no lyrics while it is searching for new lyrics so you have a second or two to do it.

But yeah, instead of this hacky way I would too like to mark it as having no lyrics no matter if it has or not.

Yes to all of the above.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.

There now seems to be a small problem with the right-click context menu, Steven.  If a single track is selected, the menu appears as expected.  However, selecting more than one track results in the menu not appearing.  See below...

Thanks ma_t14.  So often (lately) the issue has been me.  Or just on my machine.  It's nice to know this is one of those issues that isn't just mine.
