First off, I'm using v3.6.8884 P

I have a whole bunch of files that I want to remove some tags from. I have "don't update file modification time" checked in the preferences. I have this selected because I don't want my Daphile server to keep seeing anything I alter tags on as "new music". However this isn't the case. Any changes will be seen as new music in Daphile and looking in Windows Explorer I can see that the date modified is being changed.

I searched the forum I found this post: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=27915.msg155021#msg155021 and can confirm I'm in the same situation (NAS, mapped drive). Is there anyway around this? I tried mp3tag and it will delete the tags without modifying the date, but I'd like to keep things in house - just for the sake of being able to have MB search the library to find which files I need to change at the very least

Just bumping to get some more eyes

I've confirmed that both mp3tag and Picard won't change the timestamp even across my network. I'm hoping there's a way to get Musicbee to do the same

Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

It might be more prudent to ask for this thread to be moved to the Bug Reports board.
Then maybe @Steven will have a better chance of checking it out.
