I have 3.6.8849 now but still can't remove the cuesheet.
That option is available for me, using your audio file.
Are you sure that you don't have this when right-clicking the track?:

By the way:
In this particular case, it is not an embedded cuesheet we are talking about, but (as Steven guessed) an embedded chapter list. (intended for audiobooks)
So MusicBee's wording of: 'remove cuesheet' is technically not correct in cases like these. It should say something like 'remove chapter list'.

I'm still curious and interested if it would be possible to embed a cuesheet in mp3 files.
But goooogling/chatgpting this hasn't provided me with positive results so far.

I have this option but clicking it does nothing. The option still remains after clicking it, even with MusicBee restarts. But since it works for you at least it seems that the issue is on my side so the mystery was partly solved. Thanks a lot for the help!

Just to confirm, when I use that 'remove cuesheet' function, it is definitely working for me.
'Tempo' is not showing in the player panel anymore, and the drop-down menu item 'remove cuesheet' is also not available anymore.

So, it's not me (or MusicBee), it's you ;-)

Some wild guesses:
- Security software having some grasp on the file/folder?
- A read-only flag on the file?
- Other audio software active, preventing modifying it?

Thanks for checking! It might be just computer-specific then, but it doesn't matter anymore now that it's fixed. As an update, the label also responded but they said they downloaded the song and didn't find any such issues so probably I didn't explain it clearly enough (or it doesn't occur on whatever player they were using - I specified it was MusicBee). Either way thanks for the involvement :)
