I found several other threads with this reported but no resolution - usually because the reporter didn't respond to request for further information.

This is happening to me consistently when I switch tabs then move cursor to touch left hand panel (which I have set to auto hide). It is also opening a new tab with 'Music' label each time the crash happens.

I'm running Win11 beta. All drivers etc. up to date.

Happy to provide more info as needed.

Do you have a filter called "FLAC"? could you check it still exists in:
C:\Users\<your id>\AppData\Roaming\MusicBee\Filters\FLAC.xautopf

this should fix the problem:
https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files

Hi

No FLAC filter - not even the 'Filters' folder.

However, your patched version works perfectly. Bug gone.

Nice work! :)

P.S. I forgot to mention that I had updated flac.exe, libflac.dll, and bassflac.dll to their latest versions but that clearly wasn't the cause as I'm still using them with the new patched version without problem. Any chance you could include these latest releases in the next MB release? Thanks!

That error somehow relates to the thumbnail browser. What were you doing at the time it happened?

I had just finished genre tagging one artist and was navigating to a new one in the thumbnail browser.

Still having this problem. Anything else I can do to help diagnose?
