Its stated that Musicbee is for Win8 but .net Framework 4.8 does not work on win8.
I have tried everything i can imagine all evening. What is the way to success?
Thanks!

What version of MB are you using? (Help > About) INCLUDE THE LETTER (if any) AFTER THE NUMBER
How was MB installed? (Store, Installer, Portable)
Can you be more specific about "it does not work"?
Does it start and not play?
Does it not start?
Exactly what doesn't work?
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Not that this helps at all, but MusicBee 3.5 & 3.6 portable work perfectly well on my Win 8.1 machine. Can't tell you which version of .net it's running as I'm not currently at my machine at home.

it should work. Perhaps try re-installing .net 4.8 from the microsoft site

  • MB Version: 3.6.9318P
forgot, win10 is not possible..
But 8.1 should be possible and is still available as a free upgrade.

And you still haven't answered any of these questions. Most important in this case is the first one.
