Using MB v3.6.8736 and Android 14.

A week ago I was able to do a WiFi sync with no issues. I have moved and have a new external IP address, but the internal network is the same as it was before the move. When I attempt to start a preview or a sync, I get "Server not found. Ensure MB is running and Windows firewall is not blocking MB."

It's possible that the Android OS was updated from 13 to 14 during the week I was moving.

Suggestions?

On the Android 14 front, this guy seems to have gotten it working with the help of an external program.

I've had the server not found issue on occasion - usually when I cancel a sync midway through or sometimes for unknown reasons.  It mostly gets going after trying it like 5 or 10 times in a row.  I think I've had to clear the android app's cache (not data) a few times.

Thanks frankz.

Before the move I followed the instruction in the second post in  that thread and all was well. Now it's not working. So I went through the instructions again and it's still not working.

I guess it's time to dig out that usb cable. <sigh>

Thanks Steven. That got me further along as it's now finding the server. But I'm back to the "can't use this folder, select another one on your SD card." And there is no card on this phone.

If nothing else, this will force me to unpack more moving cartons in an attempt to find the carton with my USB cables. <sigh>
