99.9% of my files are flac.
When I sync them via Musicbee to a card in my phone via cable I convert them to 320k MP3.
I have the option "always embed lyrics in the music file" selected in the options.
But the lyrics are not in the resulting MP3 file.
They don't show in Musicolet (my Android music app), and if I then copy the MP3 file back to my PC from the phone, the lyrics are not there when I inspect it using Musicbee.

Musicbee 3.5.8447
Windows 10

Any ideas?

if you are not using the store version, try the latest patch as i suspect its fixed already
https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files

Same result unfortunately. I deleted all music on the card in my phone and syncronised again. Same result, no embedded lyrics.
btw the lyrics are already embedded in the flac files, if that makes a difference.
Musicbee is now 3.5.8631.

Did you independently check the file? eg. copy the file back to your pc and check the tags with MB or something like mp3Tag
I cant reproduce any issues or see any reason why the lyrics would not be embedded

Yes, as before, copied a file from phone to PC, loaded it into Mbee, no lyrics present.
I'll try a different phone tomorrow, bedtime now.

Okay wiped the sd card in the other phone and synced MB to it using same settings as first phone.
Same problem, no lyrics embedded from converted flac files.
Definitely have "always embed lyrics in music file" selected for both phones.

Thanks for the update Arpe (it can be annoying when people don't as someone might still be trying to look into this).
Can't say I understand why it solved your issue (I couldn't reproduce yours, I could the other) but obviously there was some commonality. Let's take the win.

I have no idea how it would change the device sync as its completely separate code. The only explanation i have is you weren't using the latest patched version as of a couple of weeks ago
