select multiple albums in 'album & tracks' view

In 'album & tracks' view, we can ctrl-click on individual tracks to select and highlight them.
We can do this across many albums.

If we click on the artwork, it selects the whole album.
But we can't ctrl-click on artwork to quickly select several albums.

Ideally I'd like to be able to ctrl-click a couple of full albums using the artwork,
and then go on to ctrl-click some individual tracks to add them to the selection.

What d'ya think?

Both would be a huge improvement. Combined would be perfect for me, being able to select the artwork to select all the track and then press the down arrow to select the next album as well.

I totally agree as well - especially because it is "expected behaviour", in fact one might say this is a bug.

Wow, thanks Steven! This is certainly a feature I'll be using daily.

It's a pity that ctrl-clicking on an already selected album doesn't deselect the album again, though.

However, I remember having similar problems in other software and in windows explorer when trying to deselect 'grouped items', so it might just be a programming limitation/quirk under Windows.

As it stands, the implementation seems to be fine. Very happy! Cheers!
