Is there anyway to resize album covers inside Musicbee or any plugin that is able to do this??  Let say to want to update the all track of a album to add a new album cover so you use the built in album cover downloader and the album cover you select is 1400x1400 you save it and you want to resize the cover for all the tracks to 1200x1200 is there any way to do it.

This can't be done within MB.

You can use a third party image viewer/editor. FastStone Image Viewer is free and has limited editing capabilities and resizing is one of them. You can set up MB so that when you double-click on an image, it will bring the image up in the image editor of choice. But it does not save back to MB. With FastStone once you resize the image you copy it to the clipboard and then paste it into MB.

Preferences > Tools > [ ] use external picture viewer invoked on double-click of a picture
AND
set the path to the image viewer
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

While there isn't any straightforward way to do it within MusicBee, it definitely can be done through a process which involves syncing.
One would need to perform a sync to their mobile device or some pc folder using virtual devices (I'm not too familiar with how they work but there are explanations on the forum).

A sync is required in order to access the option resize artwork to...
After the syncing, all that would be left is to overwrite the original files with the new ones containing the resized artwork.

I did explain it a while ago here. The use case is a little different to yours but the idea is still the same.

phred's method and The Incredible Boom Boom's that is mentioned on the linked thread is probably less of a headache though.
Just wanted to make it known that MusicBee does have a resize option - perhaps it can be split into one that doesn't involve a sync?
