download errors

I am not sure where to report my issue.  I downloaded the latest version and installed it.  Unfortunately, I got this error log:

What were you doing when this error occurred?

"System.BadImageFormatException: Bad IL range" sounds to me like your installation is corrupted, so try re-installing
also potentially check the disk for errors using the windows checkdisk utility
