Sorry if this has been answered, but I struggled to find a solution.

I've ripped a load of CDs into MusicBee and most have worked flawlessly.

However, some have imported with every track as its own entry, and my 'Music' panel is becoming a right mess.

I know I can ctrl click each track and click 'Edit' to edit them as a group, but I'm not sure how to then merge them all back into one single album?

Are they appearing split-up just because they have different artist names? (or is this a setting I can configure when viewing my music that I've just missed?)

Cheers,

Rich

Yes, exactly. If <album artist> is blank, MB assumes <album artist> equals <artist>. One suggestion for situations like this is to make the album artist something like "Various Artists".
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
