Hi. I have a disability affecting my arm coordination.

Can anyone suggest a skin that has permanently visible "conventional width" scrollbars with conventional up / down arrows?

Many thanks,
Sarah

PS. If anybody else is in the same boat, look at this gem for Chrome and Firefox:

It should be doable to customise an existing skin so that it gets visible arrows and wider scrollbars.
If you give a link to a skin that you like, I could give that a try for you.

That should be doable.

Which of these widths would you prefer?:

I created a modified version that has scrollbars that seem good to me.
Let me know if you would like them somewhat different, or if there is something else you would like changed.

Hi Hiccup.
Apologies for not checking back sooner, Wordpress plugins got the better of me  :'(

I would have said anywhere from 9 upwards, but shall try now!

Back in five...

I am back!

That is fantastic - thank you! It is much easier to use now.

I have some (basic) coding experience, so duplicated your XML file and am looking at it using a free XML editor. I searched for the HEX value of one of the scrollbar colours as I am really interested to understand how it works. Searching for  #dadada /and then 218, 218, 218  (I used PowerToys to identify the scrollbar colour, I found the code in  XSL Output, but not in tree view.

I was going to change it to 232, 70, 12 as an experiment, but was unable to edit manually or via Search and Replace.

Could you tell me how to edit it?

Many thanks again for helping me  :-)

Sarah
