Steven,

I want to start upgrading my library from MP3 files into all FLAC.
I have my songs arranged in a chronological order [Date Added].
Is there a way to make a swap between a mp3 file and a flac one without changing the 'Date added' order?

Right now I have to add the new Flac file to the library and delete the old Mp3 one - and changing the whole order.

no there isnt a way to do that with MB itself and it's a very specialised requirement.
i could probably create a hotkey :
- you copy the original file (ctrl-C)
- highlight target file
- new hotkey to replace tags + date added (ie. extending existing paste tags function)

If that can be done.. I would love that.

If anyone is interested, I have created a crowdfunding campaign to pay a developer to make a plugin which automates this process!
