Newbie question

I am a complete novice when it comes to MusicBee, but I am looking at it to decide if I should move away from MediaMonkey.
In MediaMonkey I have created a menu item that, when clicked, will add a date to a custom field in the selected track(s).  This is used in an Auto Playlist.  This is implemented using VB.
Does MisicBee have a similar facility, as I can't seem to find one.

If you are looking for the date a music file is added to the library then there is a field already dedicated to that.
If not, check out the vertical tag editor to show the custom field you are using for this date. However that requires manual entry for the date.
Otherwise the Advanced Tag tools plugin has functionality to automate the population of a field value
