Using Musicbee for a year now and still fine tuning this almost perfect program!

Have a problem with  custom clickable url tag in the Track Information field.
Using the portable version because it is on a usb hdd with the mp3 files.

mp3 file has a tag WWW AUDIO FILE (tag code WOAF) with correct data

ex. WW AUDIO FILE =   https://beatport.com/track/rhythm-of-the-night/17210369

When i click on the weblink MB says 'Unable to open web-link: https%3A%2F%2Fbeatport.com%2Ftrack%2Frhythm-of-the-night%2F17210369'

Like you see it converts url to HTML code.
Is this the reason the link will not open in my browser?

Welcome to the forum, vdpj.

This sounded familiar: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=37244.msg204639#msg204639

Have a look at that thread and see if you can figure it out.
If not, shout and we'll assist further.

If I understand correctly what you're trying to do, you need to use CLICKABLE WEB LINKS. I think you're confusing WEB LINKS with CLICKABLE Web Links. Mayibongwe's solution is for WEB LINKS (Preferences > Internet). What you need is as follows.

The custom tab (WWW AUDIO FILE) is probably set as string. You need to set it as URL.
You must be using  v3.5.8076 or above.
Preferences > Tags (2) > tag handling > fields Configure Fields > Type

Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Ok, thank you quick response! i will search for the information and try to make it work.

Reason for starting this new topic is that if you use the forum SEARCH engine ex. 'CLICKABLE Web Links' it shows nothing.
I was searching with always no results.
If you use google 'musicbee forum CLICKABLE Web Links' it will find the post.
