F1 is not a default hotkey for anything in MB.
SHIFT-ENTER is the default hotkey to open the Tag Editor. But you first have to select the files (tracks/albums) you want to edit. Or right-click > Edit

Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

well, not sure why that is the hotkey, but it is. If I right click on a album and select edit nothing comes up. It use to bring up all the tags; I look around to fix it and nodda.
What has happened, why can't I edit an album anymore?

Then you must've changed it yourself.
Have you looked at the list of Hotkeys?

Ya, I don't know enough about this program to have changed anything. Just after I rebuilt my server and loaded this, the stuff is all changed and edit it no longer possible.

Ya, this is a bug. Just found it; the screen got hidden behind another screen and then lost on my multiple monitors. Kinda annoying. I suspected this and was looking for a reset to default options, or something like that, but couldn't find it, other than starting over on my library, which I didn't want to do. Maybe pass that along to the developers.
