So - This question may be more for hi-fi fans than a MusicBee conversation. I run an Intel NUC connected to a Sony amp (STR-DN1080) with a 5.1 speaker set up. Watching movies sounds great - but listening to music in stereo (with no effects turned on) lacks all punch as the speakers are designed to have the sub take on the low end. As I listen to a lot of extreme metal, I just can't get a good kick from my speakers when the bass should hit. The equalizer in MusicBee has helped a lot, but do any of you great people know how to enable the sub within windows for certain apps - rather than go into the sound settings and change them every single time I use something with stereo source vs a surround based source?

I recommend looking into VST plugins. MusicBee supports them. The completely free FerricTDS and Transpire improved my listening experience beyond measure.

Hope this helps.
