ASIO - "Unable to start playback"

Hi,
I'm using an external DAC: Qutest Chord.
When setting ASIO (in Music Bee) the player refuse to play with message "Unable to start playback". Reinstalled the Qutest driver - with ASIO. Updated player to the  last version. Same result.

Have the same problem - always "Unable to start playback" with Creative Sound BlasterAE-7

Various ASIO issues have accumulated over the years and it seems the only real solution is to use WASAPI (Exclusive) instead.
Fixing problems with ASIO on specific devices is nigh impossible unless the developer has access to both time and the devices (which he does not) to make them work.
