I had deleted two plugins from the plugins folder. Then I restarted MusicBee and wanted to start a web search, meanwhile this error was displayed.

i wont be able to help with this - MB uses a standard windows api to invoke the default browser. I believe you are using non-standard web browser so maybe there is some setting. The other alternative is it might be your security software blocking MB from opening the web browser this way

Thanks for this tip, it helped to set Edge as default browser. Now the web search in MusicBee works again. 😌
