Flexibility of Sidebar Player

I do really like to use do sidebar player to active a minimalist look and avoid waist of space, but i heave two ideas that i think wold turn it better.

1 - Add an option to hide at least the cog for a better appearance and symmetrical look.
An option on the the preferences windows wold be more than sufficient.


In there somewhere, maybe... just a idea...  

With that it would look something like this:

2 - It would be very nice if we head the liberty to use the sidebar player (or a similar with fix with based on the active buttons) on the "top panel" and "bottom panel" for more flexibility, again for a minimalist no waste of space look and more importantly the ability to use a small player on the "Now Playing" page.
