Musicbee cannot handle large images ?

As soon as the image is too large I always have to redimension the image otherwise Musicbee will not see it
It looks the max size is around 1mb

Can we change that?

This is untrue.

MB has no image size limit.

FLAC files have a limitation on image size that can be embedded which is reported to be 16MB

I could find no limit for mp3 files.

As far as linked images that MB can "see," there is no limit and certainly 1MB is very tiny.
