Hi all,
First post, so let me say how great Musicbee is after years of Monkeying around.
Ive just started noticing some strange behaviour. Recentky imported, and also some older track titles suddenly appear bunched together without spaces. I'm prety sure they were not like tthis previoulsy.
Im able to change this somewhat with ASR Clean up / add spaces between words. But when I use auto tag by album, I see the suggested correction and apply, the titles immediatley bunch up again. Making me think I have a setting that is forcing this behaviour?
Im on V3.5.8157 by the way so could this be a bug?
Thanks
Penno

MB has no functionality to strip spaces from tags. As a guess you have an active ASR rule that does that

open ASR, click 'delete all', then 'import all', save all and exit. check if title changes are gone.

Thanks Both,
You are correct. I had inadvertently left and ASR preset of remove spaces ticked.without realising this would remain active. I would have thought this would need user apply and save, but I have followed your advice. I'm not sure the changes are automatically correcting. I have re scanned and am playing the files to see if that helps, but certainly the problem does not seem as widespread. I am able to auto tag by album and the corrections stay in place
Thanks for your help and Steven, Thanks for your work

Just to be clear ... -any- preset that has the box ticked is automatically applied. It bypasses the ability for the user to apply and save.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
