Easy enough to replicate this one (unlike a lot of my bugs!). This is a new bug since the last 3.5 version I had (which was dated May 12th) as I spotted it in a situation that happens pretty often under my auto-organisation.

If you have "Continuously monitor" selected under "Monitored folders" in Library in options (and are monitoring a folder), if you create a new folder in a location being monitored and end it with ".mp3" (or any other format MB recognises - I first noticed it with ".s"), monitoring will register the track as a music file and process it (in my case, adding to inbox as I'd expect with a new file).

Windows 10, 3.5.8212 P.

Late confirmation but this appears to be fixed. Thanks as ever Steven!
