Brighten text colours for custom backgrounds

I am thinking about enhancing the custom background image functionality so the brightness of text displayed on a custom background is increased. It will most benefit skins that use dim text colours for dark skins.
I would rather not add another setting for it but was wondering if anyone objected in principal?

No objections here and would be surprised if there were any at all.
I think anybody who would want control over this can simply manipulate the image instead (e.g darkening it to improve text readability)

I would like to have it.  I have quite a few nice skins, but the text appears rather dim.

it boosts the text colours by about 20% when a custom background for the application is active
