Every now and then I have need to look at my Error Log. Since I need to do this so infrequently there are often tens of thousands of lines in the file. (None are errors of concern.)

I'd like to have an option to "Delete log entries older than x Days."

Thanks for considering.

Any time I need to get in the error log I end up selecting and deleting all the back entries, but it would be nice to have a simpler way to do it.

Yes, that's the way I do it. An auto-pare option would make life easier.

Not exactly what was asked for but since the store version of MB is unable to run notepad to open the error log, i have built a custom dialog. And as part of that there is an option to Reset the log file

Not exactly what was asked for...
What I requested was one or two options which would read something like;
- Keep last x days of error log
- Limit error log to x KB/MB/GB

What you provided works and I can live with, but resetting the error log completely clears it. I would much prefer to save X number of days, so there's a little bit of history remaining.

As I said, what you've done is fine and better than what existed previously.

Thanks.
