When you're ADD and anal like me, sorting a list of songs in a playlist into a certain flowing order requires a lot of listening back and forth and going back and forth between different songs. Despite best efforts, sometimes songs get scrobbled in this manner, even though I don't mean or want to them to be, so it would be cool to exclude songs currently playing from a playlist from being scrobbled.

If I want to "preview listen" rather than "listen-listen," I turn off scrobbling for the session.  If I forget, or if something gets ever scrobbled that I don't want, I usually just go to last.fm and delete it.

Isn't deselecting the scrobble button, which is available already, what you're asking for here?

Normally when I turn off scrobbling, I forget to turn it back on until days later.

It's not a critical request, but would serve convenience, if implemented.
