Album sort inconsistency

If I view an artist and their albums the column browser list for albums ignores "The" in the sort order but the actual albums displayed in the main window does not.

I have Sort by Album Artist/Album selected for the main display window and have "The" in the list of ignore words in the Sorting/Grouping preferences.

Column browser shows Greatest Hits/The Head on the Door/Kiss Me while main window is different.

Sort order for the main window is Album Artist/Album ascending.

perhaps you have custom sort values set for the album? set in the tag editor/ Sorting

I checked and the sort value for the problem album and it has "Head on the Door, The". But it's appearing to ignore this?!

FWIW I changed the Album name and removed the "The" and it made no difference to the sort. Very strange.

I think I found the fix. Under Define Custom Sorting I changed the grouping from "files for each album are organised in their own folder" to "the following fields define an album:" and the fields are "Album Artist"/"Album Name".

Not sure what the defaults are but this seems to work.
