installed by the installer 3 months ago
on Windows 10 last update 21H1
No add-on.

The problem has been there since installation.

i cant see any involvement with the mini-player in your video but in an case can you send a link to your settings file (help/ support/ view settings)

Thanks for sending the file. However I cannot reproduce any issues.
Having another look at the video i now see that both the main player and mini-player are visible at the same time. That should never be the case. You have start minimised configured in the settings and it should only show the mini-player on startup.
Unfortunately I dont have any idea why thats the case so you might need to disable 'start minimised'

I have found the origin. I am using software Displayfusion to manage windows on my two screens. One setting is to launch all apps on the main screen instead of the last screen used.
When I disable it, MB launch correctly.
But I really need this function  :(

I have found a solution. With the same software, I can force MB to start minimized so MB launch on mini-player  :D
