How can I uncheck the "use 32bit output" checkbox?

When I use ASIO, the checkbox  "use 32bit output" selected by default and I cannot change it. But my DAC decoder is 24bit, I can't listen to raw DSD files unless the output is PCM. How can I change it?

As per this thread, WASAPI and ASIO output is always 32-bit:

It seems DSD output is still problematic, so it may not be possible to make it work.
