Hi. I'm on Android using wireless sync. Up until recently if I had a playlist that was set to sync it would sync all of the songs in that playlist if they were ticked or not. Recently I've noticed I have a bunch of playlists that have songs in them that are no longer on the device after a sync.

Did something in MusicBee change or is there a setting that I inadvertently changed?

Thanks!

Nothing has changed in MB regarding syncing. Nor have I seen the behavior you're reporting. Wired or WiFi sync does not sync tracks that are not ticked.

I suggest you go to Preferences > Devices > select your device and look at the playlists that are selected for syncing. Then go to that playlist (in MB) and use the Track Details view and make sure all the tracks are ticked.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Thanks for the answer and for moving the thread to the right place!

Here's what I found out. I had one playlist that behaved the way I described. If I had the playlist selected to sync it would copy ALL of the songs onto my device, ticked or no. (All of the songs were unticked.) If I set the playlist to NOT sync then it would remove all of the unticked songs from my device.

I had another playlist that did not behave this way. It would only sync songs that were ticked (at which point it doesn't matter if the playlist is set to sync or not).

Then I noticed: The playlist that was syncing unticked songs had the setting Display using view: Track Details. The other one was Albums and Tracks. I'm not sure why this would make a difference but it does.

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature but I'm glad to have the functionality back.
