By best song of all time, I mean any song that one feels it "speaks to them on such a profound level". There's only a handful of those gems in the world.
If the song goes beyond just being good to the ears, then it's definitely worth a shout here! Like sveakul's "Ekki múkk".
I have heard a "zillion" songs that I really loved for all kinds of (often very different) reasons.
I guess what would separate Heal The World
from just being an ordinary favourite is the story/message behind the lyrics.
I don't think there's ever going to be a song with as much meaning as this one.
Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On
is a personal favourite, but when I compare it to Heal The World
...when it comes to being "my best of all time", it doesn't make the cut by a mile.
Hope with the little elaboration above, others can also come to name such a song.
