Author Topic: MB suddenly does not start - Portable version - windows 10.  (Read 721 times)

hello everyone, i closed MB 1 hour ago and suddenly it does not restart. i tried 2 PCs. Rebooted several times. It was working perfectly on both PCs. Portable version, on Windows 10.

the error log says

It looks like the musicbee3settings.ini file is corrupt
if you dont have a backup you should delete it and also the .bak file

no luck. i have just tried it. I have now realised that MB is running, since i see it in the task manager, but i can't see the software interface

Terminate MB in task manager and restart it. If that still doesn't work, follow Steven's advice.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

it works! my mistake was that i had not deleted the .bak file when i (badly) followed Steven's advice
