I have this problem for downloading podcasts now.
The file is created, but is 7 or 9 Ko only !
Any idea of what is going on ?

What version of MB are you using? (Help > About)
How was MB installed? (Store, Installer, Portable)
Does this happen to all podcasts, or just specific ones?
If just specific ones, have you tried again the next day?
If just specific ones, please post a link to the problem podcast.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

I use the installed 3.4.7 version.
And tried with a portable one too (3.3).
It happens to all podcast. Sometimes one episode works.
And i tried a new thing, downloading in default folder, and it works.
But it is not the default folder i specified, it is the MB default one.
So it is still strange, and i can't have folders this way.
Does it ring a bell for you, this download folder problem ?

No, something like this does not sound familiar.

What is the path to what you say is the default folder?
What is the path to the folder you specified?

Thanks for providing the additional information.

I subscribed and downloaded one episode and it went to where the rest of my podcasts are located. (MusicBee\phred\Podcasts\www.supercinebattle.fr.

Have you tried editing the subscription? Right-click on the podcast subscription > Edit > override default folder for downloaded podcast files. Enable that and then set the path you wish to use.

Re-reading your first post, you're not only saying the files are winding up where you want, but they're not downloading completely. Is that correct? The only reasons I can think of for incomplete downloads are a bad and/or slow internet connection on your side which causes the download to time out. The other thing might be on the provider's side, but I was able to download with no issue here in the US.

It seems that older episodes have problems, where newer don't. I successfully downloaded the 149 and 150. But it fails for 24 and 25. I didn't even try to download. No arrow icon appears, neither square one.
My internet connection is very good, it is an optical fiber one, very stable.

My first problem was that the downloads doesn't work anymore. Even for other podcast, i only got an empty audio file of 7 or 9 Ko.
So i look up on internet, and found the possibility of a folder issue, if i specify a folder outside the music bee folder.
Before that, i already used a specify folder of my own.
When i change the folder to default, it downloads quite well, but not always eventually. Very unstable, so it is difficult to understand when it bugs.
