Latest version 3.4.7805

Scenario: You synced a device, converting everything to .mp3. Now you want to convert to Obus instead. You change settings and try to sync.

Current behaviour: MusicBee doesn't detect all the songs you have already synced and converted to mp3 that are on your device (albeit, in a different format) and wants to reconvert your entire library to Obus on the re-sync.

Expected behaviour: MusicBee should realise that XXX.mp3 and XXX.obus (and .aac and .wav etc) are the same file and not re-sync files that already exist. It would be great if there was also an option to re-sync with the new version and delete the old version of the song.

Hey Steven,

MusicBee doesn't currently re-sync files if the bitrate of the old file is different to the target bitrate. But it does try to re-sync if the format of the old file is different to the target format. This behaviour is very inconsistent! I think this suggests that there is clearly a bug here - either MB should always resync, or never resync. Or better yet, give the user the option:

- Force resync and delete old files
- Force resync and keep old files (current behaviour for different format)
- Don't resync (current behaviour for different bitrate)

Please consider this a feature request then! ;) A toggle to stick with current behaviour, or to not resync files with a different format, would be awesome.
