I'm trying to find where this is actually stored and in what format. My default sort order is by descending album rating and ascending artist. MB appears to be sorting by some internal number as opposed to the star rating (which is what I want). The reason I say this is that the results are not what I would expect as they are grouped by star rating but then things go sidewise as the artists appear to be in no particular order. This leads me to believe that when I do this the sorting is by some number value that is simply displayed as a star rating.
Can anyone clarify how the album rating works? Possibly it's not stored and is a calculated value? If so how can I get the results I want?
I have auto-calculate album rating enabled as well as store ratings in the music file if that is pertinent.
