Dont know how musicbrain works with other music genres but with metal its no good. Genres are always somewhat subjective but some of metal subgenres coming from musicbrain are just wrong. And theres absurdly many of those too. For example Black metal and blackmetal and black-metal. Those are three different genres there. Then theres the regional thing. I have American death metal, Swedish doom metal, Finnish melodic death metal and so on...
Are there other sites or options one could try? Last.fm genres shown or artist page are often very accurate. Could I pull (the first shown) tag from there somehow? Got 700 albums, not really interested to do it manually.
